The Nintendo Zapper is the name of an accessory for the iconic Nintendo Entertainment System that came out during the 1980s. It was used for several games including Wild Gunman.

Captain N is the character who carried the Nintendo Zapper in a holster underneath his jacket as his sidearm. He used a white and orange Franchi SPAS-12 shotgun as his primary against several Shy Guys, but when outgunned, he used both against the remaining Shy Guys.
